NYU Langone Rusk Institute, New York NY
The workshop at Rusk was fantastic with 16 people in attendance! Host Gwenn Fried shared the history of the horticultural therapy program at NYU Langone along with forms used by their staff in HT activity planning. We enjoyed a tour of the facility and propagated Pedilanthus tithymaloides for the HT activity. Many thanks to Gwenn and her rock star team for a great day (it’s not just the bunnies who rock!) staff members Lori Bloomberg, Catherine Graham-Kohler and Margaret Dwyer, horticulture staff member Peter Moffatt, and interns/volunteers Nora Curry, Mary Viennese and Elle Lobatto.
