NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital which was formerly known as Hospital for Joint Diseases is a dedicated inpatient orthopedic hospital. Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone provides comprehensive children’s health services. NYU Langone Hospital -Brooklyn is a full-service teaching hospital and level 1 trauma center  

The horticultural therapy program at NYU Langone has been in existence for over 50 years. Now with locations at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center, the program has evolved to meet the needs of inpatient, outpatient and community. Our adult and pediatric programs specialize in TBI, Stroke, SCI, cardiac, medically complex and orthopedic rehabilitation. Weekly programs serve acute care pediatrics, orthopedics, psychiatry and epilepsy as well as outpatient pediatric and adult oncology. Our facilities located in the middle of Manhattan boast a garden solarium, terrace garden and collaborative park area.  

Come and spend the day with us. Your visit will include a tour of the facility, overview of the programs and a workshop on curriculum development. Continental Breakfast and box lunch will be provided.

Location

Please proceed to the security desk and produce a picture ID. You are attending the Horticultural Therapy Workshop, Room 500. The Security officer will issue you an ID tag that must be placed above your waist and worn at all times when in the building. Proceed to the 5^th floor. Room 500 is located next to the elevators.
